only a place of exchange and trade for local people but also attract tourists.
Pa Co market only meets every Sunday but is always crowded
and bustling like festivals and New Year's Day. On weekends, the H'Mong people
in the highlands of Mai Chau are eager to go to the market when the fog is
still thick throughout the forest and mountains. Upland fairs in general and Pa
Co fairs in particular are not only traded in goods, but also are places where
people in the highlands meet and interact with each other.
